Hello everyone, just a reminder it’s speed skating at Stocksbridge next Saturday (14th December). You can book here.
Also, dates to save for your diary – speed skating events next year:
- Hinckley (near Leicester) 16th February
- Derby 9th March
I’d love to get a team to both of these events, could we get a good turnout as a club? These are indoor, in sports halls – Derby is a little bigger than Stocksbridge, Hinckley probably twice as big. They are great fun, with about 4 races each of different lengths. It’s completely different being at an event to racing at the club – you even get a timing chip on your skate so you can see exactly how fast you are going.
See you next weekend,
Rachel
