We are currently offering those interested, the chance to take part in the 2024/25 inline speed skating events. With many events held indoors during the Winter, as we approach the warmer months, many dates will then become outdoors. At the moment we are trying to encourage as many people from the club as possible to attend as a group.
Federation of Inline Speed Skating
Almost all of the events of the 2024/25 indoor season are now open for registration.
Here is the advert for the Leicester event, for those wanting to participate. We are also offering another event in Derby (registration is not yet open, but we will let you know when it is).
The MRSC Indoor Club Race from Midlands Roller Speed Club on 16th February 2025 will be held at Hinckley Leisure Centre . Registration closes on 9th February.
If you would like to take part in 3 or more inline speed skating events this year, you may want to consider the option of a FISS membership. This allows you to take part in the events at a reduced rate.
You will be given the following options when registering:
- Individual Registration – registration of a single skater/person as a Member of the Federation.
- Family Registration – the option of registering 2 or more individuals from the same family for a 10% discount. This can include a mix of affiliate and minor and adult skating members.
