Speed skating is on this Saturday (11th Jan) 4:30-6pm, and the dates for the next few months are also available here: Speed skating bookings. I have spoken to Stocksbridge Leisure Centre and they say their car park is clear but to take care.
We’ll also have a second try at starting the block of lessons this Sunday (12th Jan). The entrance of Penistone Leisure Centre is being kept clear and gritted and the car park is passable with care. The snow is compacted on the drive round and still soft in parking spaces at the back, so best to park nearer the entrance. More gritting, shovelling, and hopefully melting will be happening between now and Sunday.
